TAY’S STORY (II)

They say prison is supposed to be some type of place where you get your mind right, and you supposed to come out with bigger ideas, and this and that. To be honest, prison makes you worse. It do.

Now, I done been to five different penitentiaries—I’m 33 years old. I’ve been to five different penitentiaries without my lifetime. This penitentiary, Mount Sterling, I never, NEVER been to a facility like that one until they sent me there. And when I say that shit will fuck. you. up. mentally? If you not prepared? It will fuck you up mentally. I don’t know what’s wrong with that prison, but it’s—it’s fucked up.

And it’s just not that prison, but prison is built to just fuck people up, because you not doing nothing positive—it’s people doing things positive inside there, but it’s always something, 9 times out of 10, that’s going to make you do something negative. Whether it’s a bad phone call, or a bad inmate that got some bad energy, or a bad CO that got some bad energy, or something like that? It’s something. It’s something—that’s gone throw you off of tryna be positive. And—I don’t know, it’s just designed—it’s—it’s designed to do that, and it’s gone mess you up!
